Mark V installation: Simple to install on Shopsmith Mark V. Reposition (or replace) warning sticker lower on belt cover so it can still be easily read. Attach tach to belt cover with foam tape provided, just peel and stick. Place included aluminum/black strip on spindle under belt cover as shown in the picture below. Attach sensor to inside of belt cover and secure wires with foam tape and tie wrap provided. Attach wall transformer to tach and secure wire. That's it, you're in business. The whole unit is mounted to the belt cover so it removes easily for maintenance.
